MARION E. GOLD has a distinguished history of communications, publishing
and marketing excellence—with specific expertise in women’s advocacy
and health care issues.
Her articles on marketing, diversity, and women in the workforce appear in
marketing trade journals, and national newspapers and magazines. She
served on the Boards of the Arizona Women’s Town Hall and the National
Association of Women Business Owners, Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter; the
Advisory Board of the National Women’s History Museum (Washington, DC);
and on the Public Policy Council of the National Association for Female
Executives. She is on the Boards of the Illinois Woman’s Press
Association, Soroptimist International of the Americas (Chicago Club), and
on the Board of Judges for THE GLOBALS International Competition Healthcare
Communications sponsored by The New York Festivals.
Following her successful career as one of the few
women to break through the “glass ceiling” Corporate America, Marion
has spent the past six years providing community outreach and publicity
services to a variety of organizations in the community service and
women’s advocacy arenas. She was named the
Year 2000 Communicator of Achievement
by the Illinois Woman’s Press Association, which cited
her service to the
community, and her achievements as an editorial writer, publicist, and
book author. Marion has been featured in Working Woman magazine, the Soroptimist
of the Americas," and was named by Today's Chicago Woman to their list of 100 Women Making a Difference. Publications:
